2007 RESULTS
COMING SOON !!! Each year Zimmermanns ProStaff hits the hill to do their own ski and snowboard testing. It has become the most helpful way to figure out what the real difference is between all of the products out there. Our testing is done here in the east at various mountains. The tests are conducted on different days, in different conditions, and by skiers and riders of different backgrounds. This allows us to get different points of view, and really make educated decisions about what skis and boards to carry. Last years test team consisted of 18 testers in all. The line up in the store is the direct result of their efforts. If no one tried it we don't carry it, period. At the same time, if we did test it and it is not part of our line up, that doesn't mean it was a bad product, merely we found something we liked better. We are going through all of our notes to add them to this page. In the future the results will be posted as we test them. As well as a tester profile and specifics in the testers own words. We don't claim to know everything, however after five years of testing products (over 1,000 different skis and boards), we have a good feel for the differences. We try to focus on the skis do's and don'ts and try to develop a skier profile. This allows us to match up the ski or board with the skier or rider better than ever before |
